Today (February 9, 1934) is the Birthday of the Indian physicist Sivaramakritinan Pancharatnam, who discovered the effect of crystal optics called the Pancharatnam Geometric Grid.
Sivaramakrishnan Pancharatnam was
born on February 9, 1934, in Calcutta. He joined the Indian Institute of Science
as a researcher on the 25th. From 1961 to 1964, he was a lecturer in Physics at
the University of Mysore. His studies c. V. Held largely under the supervision
of Raman. It is said that Raman was well aware of the efficacy of Pancharatnam.
When Jawaharlal Nehru came to Raman Laboratory to meet Raman, he told Nehru
that the boy would be awarded the Nobel Prize for India.

of crystal optics on the geometric phase of the pancharatnam. His studies,
however, remained largely unknown until 1984. In 1984, Michael Perry discovered
a similar geometric constellation in quantum physics and published it in the
Royal Society of Ventures, Panamaal. They also did a great deal of research on
geometry. They are studied in quantum, fundamental physics and mathematics.
One of the most important aspects

Well-known researchers such as Agaranov, Jeeva Anandan, Arun Kumar Patha, Vedral
and Stuyquist have made important contributions to the field. He found that

cavity geometry. His studies often rely on the field of crystal optics.

during her social work. He left the world in Oxford, England, on May 28, 1969,
at age 35 due to ill health, while on his way to Oxford University to pursue
