Jamshedji Nasarwanji Tata (Jamshedji Tata) was born on March 3, 1839 in Nawazwari, a small town in southern Gujarat, to his son Jeevanbhai Tata. At that time it was a turbulent period suppressed by the British government, regarded as the Indian revolutionaries of 1857.
