Today (January 11, 1786) is the birthday of Joseph Jackson Lister, who invented the microscope and saw the first red blood cell in a magnifying glass.

Joseph Jackson Lister was the last son of John Lister, born January 11, 1786, in Yorkshire, London, at the age of 49. He was the father of Joseph Lister, the father of modern surgery. Mother's name is Mary. From an early age, Joseph had a keen interest in glassware. Joseph Jackson, who had just finished school in the 1800s, joined his father at the age of 14 to look after the sale of liquor in Lotpuri. Four years later, he became its partner because he excelled at it. At age 32, he married 26-year-old Isabella. Then in 1821 he and his brother-in-law set out for the shipping business. They had five children, Mary, John, Isabella Sophia, Joseph, William Henry, and Arthur Hooke.

Although microscopes and telescopes were invented before the 19th century, they had many flaws. Importantly, the figures came to be seen vaguely, vaguely. Despite many improvements, this problem persisted for many years. Jackson, who was interested in glassware in nature, solved the problem of blurring the so-called 'aberration' of the magnifying glass. He developed a microscope in 1826 in which he could clearly see near and far objects through audibles. He looked at the tissue through a microscope and developed an education about it. After the development of his microscope, biology grew very fast. The microscope industry also grew.

His other son, William Henry, also died of a chronic illness in 1864. Joseph Jackson Lister, who saw the first red blood cell in a magnifying glass, passed away on October 24, 1869, at the age of 84 in Upton.
