Today (February 18, 1745) is the birthday of Alessandro Volta, the Italian physicist who pioneered the development of electricity.
Alessandro Volta was born on
February 18, 1745, in Como, Lombardy, Italy. He was one of the pioneering
scientists who paved the way for the emergence of a field called the power
sector. Who invented the first battery in the 1800s. Who discovered methane
gas. He was very keen to study electrical energy and electric force. Due to
this, he wrote a poem in Latin about his invention of electricity. The
110-volt, 230-volt voltage unit, which is used in everyday speech today, was
set up to commemorate and commemorate his contribution. This is why we call a voltage
gauge a voltmeter. Voltage is also referred to as voltage.
Volta was a professor of physics at
the State Academy in 1774. In 1775 he invented the electrophorus. In 1776-77,
while exploring the chemical properties of gases, he discovered a gas called methane.
It is a combustible gas. This gas is a basic gas made up of compounds of
organic and four hydrogen atoms. In the 1800s there were scientific
disagreements between him and another great electrician, Luigi Calvani.
Contrary to their opinion, he did a battery deck. This showed that there was a
constant flow of current. Alessandro Volta, the pioneer of the power sector,
passed away on March 5, 1827, in Como, Italy at the age of 52.
