UGC NET Exam June 2022 (National Eligibility Test): Last Date Online Apply May 30.
The National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility of Assistant Professorship, Junior Research Fellowship or both, for Indian Universities and Colleges.
Awarding of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or Eligibility for Assistant Professorship depends on the aggregate performance of the candidate in Paper-I and Paper-II of UGC-NET. The candidates qualifying only for Assistant Professorship are not to be considered for the awarding of JRF. Candidates who qualify for the eligibility test for Assistant Professorship are governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of Assistant Professor of the concerned universities/colleges/state governments, as the case may be.
UGC-NET is conducted twice every year. Due to the pandemic, December 2021 and June 2022 Compaine.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been established by the Ministry of Education MoE (Earlier Ministry of Human Resource Development-MHRD) as an independent/autonomous, self-reliant and self-sustained premier testing organization. It has been entrusted by UGC and the Ministry of Education, Government of India with the responsibility of conducting the UGC-NET examination.
The NTA will conduct the next UGC-NET exam for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor.
The Test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.
The candidates who desire to appear in the Test may see the details in the Information Bulletin for UGC-NET December 2021/June 2022 which will be available on the website www.nta.ac.in, and https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in from 30 April 2022.
The online application form will open on 30 April 2022. Candidates who desire to appear for the exam are required to apply online between the dates 30 April 2022 to 30May 2022. The Application Correction up to 30 May 2022.
