Today (April 3, 1841) is the birthday of German astronomer Hermann Carl Vogel, who analyzed the radiation of galaxies.
Hermann Carl Vogel was born on
April 3, 1841, in Illinois, Saxony. He was a pioneer of the Father's Union. He
was the founder of the first school in Illinois. Among the people he bore were
Eduardo Vocal, an African researcher and astronomer, Elize Polko, a poet and
singer, and Julie Tomke, a writer, publisher and translator. In 1862, Vogel
studied at the University of Technology with Dres. In 1863 he went to the
University of Illinois. There he worked as an assistant to Carl Christian
Brookins. He then took part in the measurement of the twin stars by Friedrich
Wilhelm Urudolph Engelmann.
Vocal received his doctorate in
Zena for his study of the nebula and galaxies. In the same year, Suttenworth
went to Potcomb. It is located in Camerkern, 20 km south of Kiel. Here he was
the first to perform a radiological analysis of the sky. He was then assisted
by Wilhelm Assault Wall. He left the observatory in 1874 as an employee of the
Astronomical Observatory established at Potsdam. There he was involved in the
planning and setting up of the company's equipment. For this, he undertook a
voyage to Britain in the summer of 1875.
The vocalist was director of the Potsdam
Astronomical Observatory from 1882 to 1907, making it the world's leading
astronomical institution. Made radiological analyses of the galaxy and made

named after him. German Carl Vogel passed away on August 13, 1907, in Potsdam,
Germany.
