TNSET Exam Pattern 2024
The TNSET consists of two papers i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2. TNSET Paper 1 will be common to all the candidates, while Paper 2 will be based on the subject chosen by the candidate as per their educational qualifications.
- The TNSET exam is based on the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) pattern.
- The total duration of the exam is 3 hours, out of which one hour is for Paper I and two hours for Paper II.
- Paper I tests the General Knowledge, teaching capabilities, research aptitude, etc. of the candidate.
- TNSET Paper 2 will test the understanding of the chosen subject as per the candidate's qualification.

TNSET Eligibility Criteria 2024

TNSET 2024 Educational Qualifications
It is extremely important to check the qualification required for the TNSET exam. Candidates must have to fulfill minimum percentage requirements in their respective post-graduation stream. The minimum percentage required is given below-
- A General category candidate must have 55% in their Master’s degree.
- Candidates from the OBC, SC/ST, and PwD categories must have a minimum of 50% in their Post Graduation.
- You can apply for TNSET 2024 in case you are in the final year of your Post graduation or waiting for the results.
TNSET 2024 Age Limit
There is no age limit to apply for the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test 2024. Candidates who fulfill the minimum educational requirements are eligible to apply.
TNSET 2024 Reservation Policy
The authorities provide reservations to the backward class of society by allocating a certain number of seats according to their category. Steps to Apply for TNSET 2024
Follow the given steps to fill out the application form for Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test-
- Visit the TNSET official website.
- Click on the “Apply Now” option on the home page and fill in the basic details asked to complete the registration process.
- After successful registration of TNSET, you will be sent login credentials on the given mobile number and e-mail ID.
- Login with the credentials and fill the application form. The application will ask for personal details, educational qualifications, address, Photograph, Signature, caste certificate, etc. After carefully filling in the details, Click on the ‘ Submit ‘ button.
- At last, pay the application fees for the TNSET 2024 ( Before paying the fees, make sure all the details filled in the application form are correct).
- Take a printout of the application form for future reference.

TNSET Admit Cards 2024
